… I would be remiss if i didn’t acknowledge St. Patrick’s Day.

My mom’s parents immigrated to America from Ireland.

Much of my immediate family immigrated over, making many of my cousins first generation Americas.

We have tons of family abroad who keep in touch, both us and them visiting each other over the years. A cool way to grow up- truly.

In elementary school my mom use to let us skip school to march in the parade with my Nanny’s home county- Laois (its pronounce leash, like what you walk a dog with).

So- if you have a drink today- Cheers from my heritage to yours, the years of hard work and the amazing Irish!
