This sounds like quite a scam.

It actually reminds me of pyramid schemes. Like: If you buy this, I’ll give you $100 off, but if you get 3 more people to buy it then it’s free…

BUT! This is not a scam!!

Here is my take:

I want you to purchase a ticket to Plates & Paces. I want you to bring your friends, take photos, have a great time… It’s going to be amazing.
